Vande Mataram, the soul-mantra of the revolutionaries’ from the film RASHTRAPUTRA was released under the music label Bombay Talkies Music which is a part of Bombay Talkies Gharana. RASHTRAPUTRA– a film based on the life and times of the greatest revolutionary Chandrasekhar Azad, which is presented by one of the founders of Bombay Talkies, Shri. Rajnarayan Dube and nationalist organization AZAD ARMY. The movie is written, directed and acted by military school student, AAZAAD.
Vande Mataram’ the ultimate declaration of intense nationalism created by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, sung and rendered by Aazaad. In this prestigious and historic occasion Aazaad recalled the importance of Vande Mataram during the freedom struggle and announced his Vande Mataram mission across the length and breadth of the nation.
To spread the thoughts and philosophy of the forgotten hero Azad in a very comprehensive manner globally, The Bombay talkies Studios in association with Vishwa Sahitya Parishad created RASHTRAPUTRA in twenty six Indian and foreign languages including Dev Bhasha SANSKRIT, which is a first time phenomenon in the history of world cinema. It will be released on 26th October worldwide by Bombay Talkies. It is notable that after an interval of six decades the legendary film company and Pillar of Indian Cinema, The Bombay Talkies Studios is making a splendid comeback under the command of Girish Ghanshyam Dube. The historic film company was founded by Rajnarayan Dube, Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani in 1934.
Only the first two verses of the song were adopted as the National Song of India in October 1937 by the Congress Working Committee. The other verses that included references to Hindu goddesses Durga and Lakshmi were expunged, keeping in view the sentiments of the non-Hindu population. However, the newly released version of Vande Mataram for the film Rashtraputra celebrates the later verses of the original song. Directed by Aazaad and produced by the Bombay Talkies, the film Rashtraputra is slated to be released on 2nd November 2018.
